    This version has been installed and tested in Windows 7. We can
      provide an installation CD if you wish to try it out to set
      the security environment independent of your current 
      environment. To migrate just use the setup.exe in 
      Win2KorXPorVista folder.
    When you use the Help/Check for Upgrade menu STAIRS will be
      closed for you to permit the upgrade to be run.

    The EdgarOnline SEC Online Forms command button should now be 
      working again for most of you. Give it a try and let me know
      if it does not work for you and I will improve it to fix it.
    The Insider report now has an option for including all holdings
      even if some of them have no transactions in the selected time
      period.     
    Reprinting of amendments for signatures has been enhanced to 
      enable you to get the box 3 entry that you want.

      of them

      30 will be used and you will be prompted to add a remark to the

      upgrade has been worked around.

    A valid Product Key will be required to use this and future
      versions in production mode.
    Several errors will now be handled gracefully and messages have
      been clarified.
    A new tip, "Upgrading to Latest Version", has been added to Help.
    The use of function key F7 to spell check text fields such as
      memos or footnotes has been documented in a "Spell Checking" 
      help tip. Spell checking has also been added to the Tools menu
      item.
    The Zip/Postal Code text box in the Participant window is now large
      enough to display all 10 characters.
    Anyone, not just a master will be able to create a copy of the
      database.
    Reports that are not applicable based on your parameters will not
      appear in the report selection window.

    A default for the A/D code will be generated for some transaction
      codes.
    The "Printing Previews" Help tip has a section on the end that
      provides guidelines for getting page breaks where you want them
      when printing Forms.
    The Form preview window now contains a reminder about using
      Ctrl_A and Ctrl_C to copy the Form to the Clipboard to be used
      with Ctrl_V to copy it into a Word document.
    You will no longer be able to enter a derivative company security
      if the underlying company security is not in the database.
    An asterisk in the transaction code can now be used to print a
      holding for the associated insider security on the next Form 4/5.
    If you are not using SOCS you will no longer see the unneeded
      division, legal entity or plan tables.
    The blue and green asterisk footnote markers will better reflect
      the status after adding or deleting footnotes.
    The ratio of underlying shares to shares for new derivatives will
      be automatically calculated more often.
    Insider report will now support multiple footnotes on security
      names that come from separate transactions.
    Attachments will be scanned to ensure none of the lines are over 
      80 characters long and that they only contain valid characters.
    Verify will now drop unneeded form records.
    A Help tip ("Security class") has been added to explain classes 
      of securities.
    Company CIK will be audited to ensure it is numeric.
  STAIRS/SOCS
    Exporting the data in Unvested and History reports has been activated.
    When you create a frozen database only the master user will have
      permission to do updates.

    If you do not enter a recall description it will default to the 
      footnote when the footnote is saved.
    The Verify will now delete unused footnotes more than 2 days old and
      will store the footnote in empty recall descriptions.
    When reprinting old forms from your database you will no longer get
      an "Invalid use of null" message.
    There is now more room to display the full path of the submission file
      that is created when you create a live submission.

      removed from several windows. These tables are only useful in 
      SOCS and this will make these windows easier for you to use.

    Online Help has new tips on adding new users and creating a Form 3
      for an insider with no holdings. Pictures of the controls being
      referenced have been added.
    Calendar will no longer pop up when entering October or March.  
    Demo database converted to current version and verified.
    Minor enhancements made to many forms.
   STAIRS/AIRS
    During conversion addresses with "Texas" will get a location code
      of "TX".
    The insider report when formatted for insiders will contain the
      holdings when balances only are requested.
